Birds on an wire

 .Birds on a wire.

One bird came fluttering down neatly, scruffles it's 

teathers. Then chirps.

Another bird swoops down wiggles it's 

tail feathers then yawns(which makes 1st bird mad).

When you thought that's all the birds on the wire, another bird lands.

Followed by 21 more birds.

Then "CARR!" what was that the birds thought  as they 

turned to see there horrible demis.

Its a Big bird! du du du dun!

The birds make fun of the "Wired bird".

The big bird takes no efens.

Small birds move away.

Big bird comes closer.

Wire sinks.

small bird slides into big bird.

Big bird sings.

One bird pecks the big bird...

HARD.

Big bird flips.

Two birds have a plan.

The two start pecking away at the big bird's feet.

Other birds start cheering them on.

1 off 2 off 3 off 4 off.

This is when bird two released......

they're fate.

 He tells the others.

But it's to late.

BOUNG! They go flying up

and plummeting down.

They hit the ground... completely naked!

They hide behind the big bird.

The lesson behind this is:

Treat others how you want to be.

Don't make fun of others for being different.

Our class NEEDS a class pet.

My Thoughts

We should get a class pet because, it will reduce kids talking about video games like: Terraria and minecraft. Replace that with the class pet like a fish or a lizard.

If we had a class pet we could study it and learn it’s behavior, what's natural and unnatural. We could even learn the food chain!

Plus we could do art on it.

LITTER?

 Why is LITTERING so bad?

Littering is bad because:

1. It makes our place/town/city look unclean.

2. It can/might cost you/us cash.

3. It KILL'S wild life.

4. It wast's time for the pick up group/ kind locals.

5. If you litter, your adding onto an island of trash, that is responsible for slaying more than six hundy thourson fish and bird in an year.

Who's responsibleat do you think it is to pick up litter, and why?

I think it's  your own responsibleat for your litter, your just lucky that some really nice people (or the clean up group) sacrificed they're time to:

1. Clean the streets.

2. Clean the meeting place (that is if you have one).

3. Clean the local area.

Where would you like to organise a litter pick up in your local area, and why?

I would organise a trash collecting party next to the local area (that's if we have one) (I think the local area is the park? me no know, yeah defiantly the park).

The reason for that is because:

1. It might be the local area.

2. lots of people go there.

3. there could be alot or trash there.

How could people be encouraged to litter less in your local area?

Probably doing dis stuff:

1. Give them a fine of one hundy or so.

2. Make them pick up all the trash in the local area.

3. Water the grass and all the guardians.

4. Feed the ducks.

5. Polish the path way.

6. Clean the water fontan.

7. Clean the treacherous toilet.

8. If they're lucky: feed the parrots and clean the parrot's cage.

MOBILE PHONES?

 Are mobile phones a good thing for kids, and why?

Mobile phones are/aren't good for kids because;

X 1. kids can download an INappropriate app and hide it.

X 2. Kids can become addicted and sneak on it when he/she/they're not allowed.

X 3. Kids can/will spend like $50 bucks or more no a game... just take the $50 or more bucks out of they're wolit/bank account.

X 4. Kids can/might have a contact with someone dangerous for say Trent and/or JustDustin or they might have a contact of a contact.

TICK 5. Kids can contact each other and talk when they out of talking rang.

TICK 6. Your kids can tell you if they're going  to be late home  or have had an accident.

Just then I showed you bad/X and good/TICK reasons for you're kids to  get/not get a mobile phone.

How could a mobile phone help you both in and out of school?

I don't know. I really don't know this one. I think tho, a mobile phone could help with... research, maby, I no know... but I think  phones could, ummmm... hmmm AHH I've got  it kids could use phones in'n'out of school to drum roll please dun-brbrbrbr CUT kids can use phones to........ EDUCAT they're self.

The age I would think would be mucher and responsabile enough to have a mobile phone would be ten. Not just for me "cause I'm ten hay hay." I think age ten because tn is... ummm whats the words??.. AH! that's the words. Age ten is mucher and kids age ten is also responsible.

SUCCESS?

WHAT DOES SUCCESS MEAN TO YOU, AND WHY?

Success for me means: achieving/achieved something I worked/working hard on... like now. I'm working on my Q write (Quickwrite) and my blog post. Achieved means finished something  you are really proud of, so you should try to achieve success. Once you achieve success you'll fell proud of your self.

HOW DO YOU MEASURE SUCCESS?

MY way of measuring success is:

Setting  goals and each time you make some progress, be proud.

YOUR way of measuring success can/will/will not be different to my one, for example your way could be:

1. Each time you make a bit of progres be  happy.

2. Set goals.

3. Make a list and tick it off one by one.

DOES IT MATTER IF YOU DON'T ALWAYS SUCCEED,AND WHY?

It DOES NOT matter if you always succeed, because you've tried.

WHAT MAKES A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE?

A healthy lifestyle is a healthy lifestyle.

O.K.O.K. a healthy lifestyle is a lifestyle that keeps you healthy, and healthy means well being.

BUT! what makes a healthy lifestyle?

Healthy lifestyles are made by being healthy and to be healthy you need to eat at least 5 fruit or/and vegetables a day.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A HEALTHY DIET AND AN ACTIVE LIFESTYLE?

The benefits of having a healthy diet is:

1. You can/will become more inajetik.

2. You will not get sick and cach:

l. Abeste.

ll. Hart disses

lll. Diabetes

3. You might and when I say might mean might even live longer.

BUT you will also need to:

1.Drink lots of water. Reson:

All our organs need water to:

My favourite healthy foods are:

1.Apples, why:

Apples are one of my favourite foods because: 

l. Apples have juice so they help you stay hydrated and they are ssssoooo juicy.

ll. Apples are crunchy so they will help pull teeth out + the sound is just amusing.

2. Potatoes, why:

l. Potatoes are good with every meal.

Potatoes also come sweet.

Potatoes, kumara/sweet potatoes can be crisp,butter, backed and crunchy.

My favourite form of exercise is:

Biking is one of the hardest exercise because of the gers... have you ever biked up a hill in ger 3 and 8?

Dear. BOARD. OF TRUSTEES

I’m a year six at W.B.S and in M.L.H. I think we should be on holiday right now.

Your work you gave is hard and you gave as two extra weeks of school.

 You have to remember that we’re still kids. We can’t work as hard as you!

And even though COVID-19 shortened the school term. We can’t do this. We’re kids!

If you didn't give us two more weeks of school, people will be able to do what they want.

And can hang out with their friends and play though games and for say me and my friend can

cach up or play minecraft AND praktis our building skills.

If we wor on holiday the teachers wont need to try to teach us something new… teaching is a

very stressful job you know!

And students won’t need to wake up early like at six o’clock.

You know,  when you wor at school you would like the school year to be fair and square.

You wanted stuff to be fair.

You need to give what you wanted, to the next generation for kids.

The action that I would like you to take is… letting us go to the holidays now.

And I think it would be fair if you take down two weeks off next term.

The work at home

The work at home 

The work at home was taught but we got through it. We had to meet up on google meets and we had to work on steps.

Life was taught in lock down… but we got through it.

The work at home was weird and wacky but it was find with me. I like weird and wacky things. Anyways I am doing this to show you my work at home so go go go lets go! 

So how’d ya like it? If it's good its good and if its bad its bad. My favorite one is the reptiles. I like dinosaurs and now you know

SWIMMING

On wednesday 26 february 2020 all the Y4's toY6's went to swimming sports and except for the races it was
BBBBBBOOOOORRRRRIIIIINNNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!
so instead of telling you about that I will tell you about the race's and here it is:


1st up: BACK STROKE

It was my turn for backstroke. I hop in feeling confident, I wait for the horn  to go off and I was feeling pumped up but they delayed in so I was not feeling pumped up any more. Then the horn goes off and I go as fast as I can. But alas I come last backstroke is over for me.


2nd up: BREAST STROKE

When it was time for my breaststroke I was over confident again. So we lined up and had a lot of trouble getting things organized. And when it was my turn to start "TOOOOOOO!!!!!" goes the horn. I jump.......I dive through the water and I was off. I go for the strategy close to the surface so I pull and kick at the same time  and then fastle breeth. but again I don't come in 1st or 2st and move onto the finals, I come in 4th spot. Breast stroke along with every thing is over. And now some pictures from swimming:

Lockdown was a big thing for the Moana learning hub

(# MLH) But we got there. The lockdown from COVID-19

changed the way we work in a way we never thought it could.

“The lockdown went on for about 2 months and working

changed for 2 months! Can you believe that!”. In the lockdown

there was different tasks to school work… my favorite task was

the animal kingdom week we could chose if we were in sharks,

reptiles, afracan big 4 or big cats. I did reptiles, I did a lot of

work and it paid off. Here's the slide show.

And by now you properly know that I love dinosaurs. The lockdown weeks were funny because the teachers put face emojis on the morning messages. It was fun at home plus me and Krishna played minecraft together. And that brings me to why that happened and that brings me to how the lockdown affected the school work. We couldn't go to school and so we had to work from home. The order of the weeks was ANZAC, Animal kingdom then world famous next was Story time and some what next was BACK TO SCHOOL our world next after that was our world 2 and now week 8.

 The feeling of coming back to school was making me over excited. At the time I just wanted to see my friends again. And now that I’m at school I can say that… I NEED A DAY OFF!!! But I do have a lot of good ideas I want to share. I think that being back at school is a great thing. THE END

PUMPING SURF

On Friday morning all the Y6's went surfing and missed out on assembly. "We went surfing at Makorori, the waves were pumping! Not to hard, not to easy." After that Ben went home, to play with his cousins but who cares about that? "What I am going to tell you is what happened at surfing" said Ben. "the day began like any other screan day I woke up and I hear Carlos tarking with Ollie. Rob tells me to get reddy for surfing so I do what I was told and got my wet suit on. After I get ready my dad gives me a race on counter.


After the race Rob gets ready to help me surf 1st we go to school and listen to Nic the surfing teacher and then we pack all 4 boards in the back. It was a long drive there and a long talk but first we did a warm up and it was tiring and then we found out who was the house  captain Robby and Tilly was my house captain. Then we buddied up and William was my buddy and Paul was my adult buddy and then we went surfing and here is a pictures from surfing:
